The Full Hardware Lifecycle

From day one installation to certified end-of-life disposal — we handle every physical transition your infrastructure goes through.

Install

New hardware delivered and racked by certified engineers — to OEM specification, with full cable management, labelling, and BIOS configuration before handover to your team.

  • OEM-compliant rack & stack
  • Structured cabling to TIA/EIA-568
  • Asset registration & CMDB update
  • Functional test & sign-off

Move

Hardware moving between floors, buildings, or cities — packed safely, transported securely, and reinstalled correctly at the destination. We manage logistics so your team doesn't have to.

  • Pre-move configuration snapshot
  • Anti-static packaging & specialist transport
  • Cross-border logistics coordination
  • Destination rack & restore

Add

Expanding an existing environment — additional nodes, drives, NICs, memory — carried out without disrupting live workloads, within your approved change window.

  • Change-window scheduling
  • OEM-approved component installation
  • Firmware alignment post-install
  • Updated documentation delivered

Change

Hardware reconfiguration — rebalancing blade chassis, swapping controllers, re-patching cross-connects — executed against a tested runbook with rollback procedures defined before we start.

  • Pre-tested runbook required
  • Rollback procedure agreed upfront
  • Change advisory board (CAB) support
  • Post-change verification testing

Decommission

End-of-life hardware removed safely, data destroyed to certified standards, and assets disposed of compliantly. Every step documented with chain-of-custody records.

  • NIST 800-88 / DoD 5220.22-M erasure
  • Certificate of destruction issued
  • WEEE-compliant disposal
  • Asset value recovery where possible

Asset Recovery

Post-warranty hardware often has residual market value. We assess, grade, and sell recoverable assets — offsetting your decommission cost and keeping usable equipment out of landfill.

  • Hardware grading & valuation
  • Resale via certified ITAD channels
  • Net recovery credited to your account
  • Full audit trail of disposal route
Data Security

Your Data Doesn't
Leave Without a Certificate

A decommissioned server with residual data is a liability. We treat every storage device as a potential breach waiting to happen — and we eliminate that risk before the hardware moves a centimetre.

Erasure is performed on-site using accredited software. Every drive receives a unique certificate showing the erasure method, pass count, and verification outcome. Physical destruction is available for drives that cannot be electronically wiped.

Standards We Work To

Guidelines for Media Sanitisation — the US government standard for secure erasure

DoD 5220.22-M

US Department of Defense 7-pass overwrite standard

HMG IS5

UK government CESG Infosec Standard 5 for enhanced overwrite

ISO 27001

Chain of Custody

Every Asset Accounted For

From de-rack to certificate — a documented trail your auditors, insurers, and regulators can follow.

01

Asset identification

Every device tagged, serial-recorded, and photographed before removal. Nothing leaves site unlogged.

02

Secure de-racking

Hardware removed in approved sequence. Anti-static precautions observed throughout.

03

On-site data erasure

Drives wiped on-site before the device moves. Erasure certificate generated per device.

04

Physical destruction option

For drives that can't be wiped — degaussing or physical shredding with witnessed destruction and video evidence.

05

Secure transport

Bonded carrier, tamper-evident packaging, GPS-tracked vehicle. Chain-of-custody form travels with the load.

06

Final certificate delivered

Certificate of destruction, manifest, and disposal routes delivered within 5 business days of completion.
